Your education plans are yours.

Profile answers are used to explain relevant scholarships. Collefy does not sell private student details. A university receives personal information only when a student knowingly chooses to submit an enquiry.

Data minimisation

We ask only for information needed to explain eligibility, save work or provide a service you requested.

Account sign-in

When you choose an available Google or Facebook sign-in option, that provider shares your basic name, email address and account identifier with Collefy’s authentication service, Supabase. Collefy does not receive your Google or Facebook password. Supabase may link sign-in methods that use the same verified email address to your existing account. Private, secure cookies keep you signed in; signing out clears the Collefy session cookies.

Device workspace

Without signing in, saved scholarships, tasks, application stages and notes stay in this browser’s local storage. They are not synced to an account. Clearing site data removes them. Export your shortlist or workspace backup to keep a separate copy. Signing in does not automatically import device drafts.

Application forms and attachments

Application draft answers are saved in this browser’s local storage. Documents you attach to a draft are stored in this browser’s IndexedDB. They are not uploaded to Collefy, synced to an account or delivered to a scholarship provider. Clearing site data removes them. Export your answers and download your attachments to keep copies. Workspace backups contain tasks and notes, not application-form answers or attached files.

Control

You can browse public opportunities without creating an account. Account holders can request access to or deletion of their saved information.

Progress and Fyo celebrations

Badges, milestone dates and your celebration preference stay in this browser. They are not account records and do not include form answers, notes or scholarship selections. Clearing site data removes this progress. You can switch celebrations off in Your progress. XP is a personal activity counter, not a scholarship score or eligibility decision.

Sharing

Shortlists are private by default. Creating a sharing link publishes only the public scholarship details you deliberately select. Anyone with that link may read the selection until you revoke it. Profile answers, notes, tasks and documents are excluded.

Profile answers and activity measurement

Exploration answers are stored on your device. Clear them from the matcher when you no longer want them retained. If activity measurement is enabled, Collefy records limited product events such as searches, saved scholarships and provider visits. These events do not contain grades, income, documents or email addresses. Account activity may use a pseudonymous identifier to measure initial activation.
